back in TO

got back to TO yesterday evening after an uneventful flight (mostly sleeping). i arrived in TO and the craziness begins - went to sq1 to pick up my other sister from the uw fed bus, dropped off techboy at his sauga home, then went back home to eat a yummy home cooked roast beef meal. After digesting, it was straight to planning the next day's bridal shower. we did all the shopping for the food last night and woke up early to make a fruit platter, a cucumber and dill spread on pumpernickel and smoked salmon and salmon spread on rye sandwich platter, and a crackers-cheese-sausage platter. one of the guests brought over a box of dufflet bite sized pastries - coffee cake, strawberry cheesecake, esclairs to name a few yummmm!! the bridal shower took a lot of work but the maid of honour did most of it... all i did was prep for the food (which i enjoy doing already!!) all in all, i would say a success. great game ideas candeo! :D
