Snow in the Northwest
It doesn't normally snow in the Northwest. Instead, it rains. Of course this is because the temperatures don't normally drop below zero degrees and therefore the rain doesn't get a chance to freeze into snow. This weekend however, something chilly was in the air. The temperatures dropped and the snow came down. It started first in Vancouver - on Saturday night, just as my classmate and I were exiting Science World - the snow started to fall and it didn't stop. We were heading back to Seattle that night so we thought we'd have a long ride ahead of us but the snow stopped shortly after we crossed the border. On Sunday however, the snow started in Seattle!! YAY! We're expecting more snowfall which is excellent! It means fewer people at work, and quieter offices mean more productivity. It might also mean my class will be cancelled on Wednesday which would be very nice indeed.
