Soccer - SUCCESS!

At the start of each year, my coworkers form a soccer team and join an indoor league. You may remember from last year that we were horrible. We didn't win any of our games. Not one. We started up again this year with a few new members and a few of the originals. We're still very much beginners but we had potential. The closest we came to a win this season was a tie. During that game, we were up by one up until the last 5 seconds. The other team scored and we were tied. Tonight was our very last game of the season. We played hard, we had some strong defense and smart offence and we came out on top!!!! We WON! it's been three seasons since we've won a game - and in fact, this is the very first win that our team has ever had. I have to say, tonight is a night for celebrating - it feels good to win :D

What a way to end the season! Now maybe next year we can make it to the playoffs....
