in the midst of the blackout i have lost track of time. i'm flying out on friday morning and heading home for christmas. christmas is indeed my most favourite time of year and it makes it even more special now that i'm in seattle becuase it means i can come home and visit friends and family :D i cant wait to come home.
side note:
i've been trying not to grumble too much about not having a home for the past 5 days because i know that i actually don't have it all that bad. in the midst of this chaos, i still give thanks for all that God has provided for me and that he has blessed me with such a caring community out here. there are people who have died as a result of this blackout. and there are people who have lost their homes completely due to fallen trees on their homes. i still have a welcoming and warm place to sleep and a place to take a hot shower and hot food. i consider myself truly blessed :P
