After all the layoffs that occured, I am now an island - sitting alone in the midst of empty cubes. So i asked my manager if it would be possible to move me to another cube or office where I'm closer to civilization - the rest of the team. He came back to me and asked if i would want the neighbouring office to his. I hesitated. I've grown attached to my luxurious window cube. I was hoping for something similar - like the empty window cube on the other side of the building.
Should i request for the window cube or the windowless office that has a door...
