It's the first snowfall out here in Seattle. YAY! Snow is a big deal out here. If people see so much as a snowflake in the sky, they run to their cars and drive straight home. They call in to work and say it's too dangerous to make it in. Then the chains for the tires come out. And the streets are filled with crazy drivers. The REAL reason it's too dangerous to make it to work is because there are dangerous drivers on the road who can't drive normally in snow (or rain for that matter). It's not really the snow that's the problem. Anyhow, I'm happy to see snow falling from the sky. I think it's beautiful having a white blanket over everything. I'm all smiles.
