urgh. i found out today that the receipts i have been waiting for in the mail were lost in the mail (candeo... is this starting to sound familiar??). i found out that they had in fact, been issued at the beginning of October. i probably would have continued waiting forever had i not emailed my lawyer 4 times today to ask what the status was! gah! oh well. hopefully all will be sorted out and hopefully these are indeed my receipt numbers... i won't know for certain until i see it on paper in my hands but for now, i am content that some of my questions were answered. i'm very saddened though to realize that i could have gone home for Thanksgiving and not missed out on hm and id's wedding. :(

i SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO understand your pain! IN FACT, I'm filling out the forms to request another card TODAY b/c it's been nearly a year and I haven't gotten mine yet!! RIDICULOUSNESS.
And on the 1/2 marathon note: You should TOTALLY do it!! There's a Maui one AND a Disneyworld one!!! And--speaking of heroes, ugh, you're the one who bakes pies and tiles her floors!! =)
