portland, oregon

i made a day trip out to portland, oregon this weekend with a few friends. we went to see the Columbia Gorge - the area is packed full of beautiful waterfalls along a scenic highway - i'll load up some photos... eventually. then, because oregon is a tax-free state, we did some shopping. In fact, perhaps more shopping than we originally planned for :S. i bought a brand new pair of runners and a drifit adidas T for my sessions at the gym. i also picked up some soaps for my sister and a macbook cable for my other sister. if we stayed there any longer, more damage could have been done. :P I had hoped to visit the oregon coast this weekend but that would have required staying overnight and more driving and we didn't have the time. Cannon beach will have to wait for next time.
