company is over

it's been a busy week. don't have time to write meaningful entries. here's what's going on.

monday
-shirley arrives safe and sound from TO
-i spot an ad for a 2000 honda accord. price is high but i decide what the hey...

tuesday
-we spend an hour at avis trying to figure out the best deal we can get on a car rental. we end up with a red pontiac vibe.
-then shirley visits museums by day, takes me out for groceries by night
-i test drive the honda accord - handles highways with good acceleration, handles hills no problem. price still high but negotiable.
-can't miss out on girls group!

wednesday
-shirley's at the pacific science center, i'm at work
-at lunch i test drive a 1999 Honda CRV. very good condition. price non-negotiable at 9800. if the honda accord doesn't work out, then this is my second option.
-i make an offer for the honda accord (under 10K). he accepts! i schedule mechanic appointment who gives me a great condition status by end of day.
-call the bank to see what i need to get done in order to get my loan approved and activated (copy of the title, carfax, proof of insurance).
-too late in the day to figure out insurance... grr..
-we relax and veg at home.

thursday
-plans to go snowboarding at night with coworkers and shirley
-shirley trips on a sidewalk downtown and rolls her ankle. snowboarding trip cancelled.
-calls around to find insurance (to be activated for NEXT day). finally makes a decision and gets it done. YES!
-evening, we go to bonny's house to watch 3 episodes of Lost.

friday (prediction)
-go to bank to get my loan! then transfer the title. then register the car. omg. i'll be the owner of a 2000 honda accord by lunch???
-shirley goes to musuem of flight.
-evening is open and blank. we're supposed to go to vancouver this weekend for snowboarding... will shirley's ankle allow her to go??
