weekend excursion to Toronto

friday
- i flew out friday morning from seattle
- landed in toronto in the afternoon-evening around 5pm
- got picked up at the airport, dropped of luggage and went to dinner
- after dinner, went to the Relay for Life
- we raised $4000 for the Canadian Cancer Society - awesome job!
- got home around 11:30pm to curl my sister's hair with a curling set that she didn't even end up using for the wedding she was going to the next day
- slept at 12:30am to be woken up at 2am by my sister who couldn't sleep because she was antsy about the wedding the next day (she was the MC)

saturday
- woke up around 9:30am, went to brunch at Cora's - yum!
- got back home around 11:00am - showered and dressed for wedding, then cleaned up my mess because there was an open house later in the afternoon - no one tells me these things!!
- picked up tiff, drove downtown to meet Jon who'd drive us to the ceremony
- got to the ceremony a little late - just as the bride was walking down the aisle - bummer.
- enjoyed the wedding ceremony of ron and heather - congrats!
- went to bayview village to run errands
- met up with cris for an hour to chat and catch up
- went to pac mall for the reception dinner
- enjoy a 12 course chinese meal - burp!
- went to sleep around 1am

sunday
- woke up around 9:30am
- discovered that another open house MIGHT be happening - i need to pack all my stuff in case I can't come back to the house before going to the airport
- i haven't seen shirley's place yet - my mom insists we must go before church
- leave home by 10:30am and arrive at shirley's condo at 10:45am - she's in the shower for another 15 minutes - service starts at 11am
- arrive at church extremely late.
- after church, we eat at asian legend with my parents small group. this goes on for HOURS.
- finally return home, repack my luggage (no open house afterall.... grr) and head off to the airport.
- i enjoy an ice cap while i've collapsed on the airport chair waiting to board my flight.
- arrive in seattle around 8pm - eat dinner and head off to bed.

these weekend trips are crazy.
